1. EAT BOILED EGGS
This diet contains eating at least “8 boiled-eggs” or more in a day. As we all know, ‘Eggs’ are a great source of Vitamin B12, B2, D, Selenium, Iodine and of course, Protein. To get a shredded physique you’ll have to cut on your carbs and increase protein intake. Eggs do not have any carbs in them, just a pure source of protein, best for muscle growth. Many health institutes suggest that eating 2 eggs a day is ‘enough’ and ‘safe’ for our body. Well to your surprise eating more than 2eggs is safe too, there isn’t any evidence that has proven this. Amount of eggs one can consume in day varies for each individual. For example – For an average person today with little to no exercise and all day of sitting, 2 eggs will be enough to hit 50% of there daily nutrient but for a gym goer or an athlete 2 eggs is just like doing 1 set of dumbbell curl or running 1 mile. An active individual demands more protein to burn more fat and gain more muscle. So eggs are the best protein source to get that shredded physique.
3.6gm (protein in one egg white) x 8 = 28.8gm Protein
PRECAUTION : Always remove the “Yolk” from the egg before eating and especially if you are consuming more than 1 egg a day. Yolk is responsible for increasing body Cholesterol levels which creates a risk of heart attack and stroke.
2. DRINK BANANA SHAKE
Banana + Milk is the best combination you’ll ever drink. Banana is a great source of potassium, Milk on other hand is a rich source of calcium. One is good for heart health and other is good for bones, thus it is a healthy drink. Eating 8 boiled eggs will not give you the feeling of fullness so drinking banana shake in a day will help you with it.
3. EAT CHICKEN BREAST [BOILED, IF POSSIBLE]
Chicken is the best source of protein. 100gm of chicken breast contains 27gm of protein. An average gym goer or athlete needs to consume 1.2 – 1.7 grams of protein per kilogram of there bodyweight to build muscle and chicken is the source to do that. Around 250gm of chicken breast gives 78gm of protein which is more than enough. Eating it boiled will not alter the protein amount, this will help you to eat the exact amount for the protein you are aiming. If you can not consume it boiled, then cooked chicken is best with added spices and more.
4. EAT VEGETABLES IN BETWEEN OR WITH MEALS
Boiled eggs or chicken will not keep your stomach full. Eating raw vegetables helps to get the essential vitamins to keep your energy levels up all the time. Since vegetables do not contain carbs and provides water to the body, it will help you become shredded. Vegetables like cucumber, onion and carrot goes best with everyday meals. You can eat veggies of your own choice, no vegetable is harmful to consume on daily basis.
