In the series ‘Lawrence – A Gangster Story,’ the life of felon ‘Balkaran Brar’ will be revealed, showcasing how a law student from Panjab University, Chandigarh, became connected with other gangsters, formed his own gang, and established a strong foothold in the world of crime.
The Indian Motion Pictures Association has approved the series title, and Jani Firefox Films aims to closely portray the real-life documented events of Lawrence Bishnoi, connecting viewers with dramatic emotions. Amit Jani has a history of producing non-fictional films based on true events providing watchers an intense and realistic experience.
The series focuses on presenting Bishnoi’s actions in a way that claims his crimes were committed in the name of justice and highlighting how he admired Bhagat Singh’s ways. The journey of Bishnoi, from his youthful days to his era of crime, will be depicted in the series, starring Varun Buddhadev as the youthful version of Bishnoi. Other actors starring in trailer are Gagan Deep Singh, KAIRBI, Daya Ram Yadav, Shivam Chauhan, Shivam Sinha, Dr. Nikunj Aggarwal.
The release date has not been confirmed, but it is likely to be released in 2026 on a major OTT platform.

Lawrence Bishnoi, an infamous gangster from Punjab, made to headlines by claiming to be the responsible for killing of 3 times former MLA, Baba Siddique and death threats to famous actor “Salman Khan”. He is also charged for plotting murder of famous punjabi singer “Sidhu Moose Wala”.
Lawrence has been running his gang behind the bars at Gujarat’s Sabarmati Jail since 2014 and even from behind the bars he manages to commit crimes outside leaving the whole world shocked.
