Rape cases has skyrocketed all over India since the Nirbhaya Case: On DECEMBER 16, 2012 a young women was gang-raped in a moving bus when returning home from watching movie the “life of pi”. Even after the increase in security and changes in Rape-Laws by the government, the incidents which should have dropped started to increase instead. Even after 12 Years the rape cases are increasing rapidly, saddening fact is that it took almost 9 years to get justice to Jyoti Singh (Nirbhaya case victim) who died just after 13 days of assault due to her injuries. Such incidents also raises question on “Women Safety” in India. So is the tag of “Rape Capital” given to India is right or not will be further discussed.
Recent cases: *West Bengal Doctor Rapes Patient After Tranquilizing Her *Rape And Murder Of Trainee Doctor In RG Kar Hospital, Kolkata *Two Minor Girls Sexually Assaulted In School Van In Maharashtra * Minor Girl Raped After Drugged And Dumped On Streets Of Maharashtra *Elder Man Rapes 5 Year Old In Uttar Pradesh.
I can write 100 more that happened in just 1 months time. India is mostly famous for its “Rape Capital” tag and this is true that Rape cases in India are always on peak. Of course there are fake reports too, according to National Crime Records bureau’s (NCRB) less than 8% of all cases under investigation for rape were found ‘false’ but this doesn’t hide the fact that many cases goes unreported. Majority of the Indians are uneducated so that goes without saying that they don’t take ‘LAW’ seriously, they tend to take everything in there own control and tend to solve the issues themselves. Most of the rape cases or crimes occur in undeveloped villages or areas and where the village community solves the matter on there own, of course the victim doesn’t get justice but instead gets married to the convict or the assaulter. Actions are taken against most of the cases which are reported in Urban or developed areas, of course people there are smart and knows well to use social media to gain awareness but in case of underdeveloped regions or some small village at country side, where no mobile phones are present and no knowledge of media, you might think twice about reporting cause you might get harassed instead, worst case scenario you gets raped again : Case *13 Year Old Girl Gang Raped, When Went To Seek Help Gets Raped Again by Police Officer In Uttar Pradesh.
So why is it that this many Rape occurs in India ? Most Convicts say its because the victim wasn’t well dressed and showing skin, to there this statement the simple answer are such cases: *Man Raped A 9 Year Old in Madhya Pradesh or *2 Month Old Raped in Ludhiana Village. Well its mainly due to people mindset, even though a country with Hindu majority where a Goddess is worshiped most the women there are still seen as an object with no feelings or family of her own. Even though there’s a saying in India that there’s no greater God than “Ma” i.e Mother, they don’t think twice that they are assaulting someone mother, wife or daughter too. When predator is asked don’t you have “Ma”(Mother) or “Bhen” (Sister), they simply reply that they don’t care because the victim wasn’t there relative: Check out Nirbhaya case in Delhi- Say of rapist on victim . This itself shows the mindsets of many Indians, of course there are good people too but there numbers too them is little to none. Why is it that people have such mindset ? Is it because majority of people in India are uneducated and sees poverty through out there entire life, with little to no ability to feel emotions and lives there life as a lusty NPC looking for mating partner ? well the question itself is wrong because educated and rich too commits such heinous crimes. The difference is only the power, rich man can buy law and media to cover up there crimes.
As of now you can guess from the mentioned cases that India is full of ‘Pedophiles’, lusting over minor girls and blaming there clothes to awaken such feeling of lust, even though victims are just children of age 1 to 15 Year in there traditional clothes not knowing in what hell of a country they are born, where they will not be safe till there death : Reference Case- *2 Year old Girl Raped by 50 Year Old Man In Uttar Pradesh *70 Year old Women Raped During Robbery In Kerala. At this point Indians need serious Mental Counselling.
Is there a solution to such crimes ? Well answer to this is ‘No’. As long as there’s overpopulation, no education, no change in mindset and of course no strict actions by Indian Government such predators will roam around the society with no fear of getting caught. So the tag of “Rape Capital” given to India is very much true and no one other than India itself will be able to remove it. When will the times come when women of India feel safe in there own homes, around there own relatives, in there own city.
